1929 Ford Model A 2 Roadster - Utah Showroom The Ford Model A (also colloquially called the A-Model Ford or the A, and A-bone among rodders and customizers), was the second huge success for the Ford Motor Company, after its predecessor, the Model T. First produced on October 20, 1927, but not sold until December 2, it replaced the venerable Model T, which had been produced for 18 years. By 4 February 1929, one million Model As had been sold, and by 24 July, two million. The range of body styles ran from the Tudor at US$500 (in grey, green, or black)[3] to the Town Car with a dual cowl at US$1200. In March 1930, Model A sales hit three million, and there were nine body styles available. Model A production ended in March, 1932, after 4,858,644 had been made in all body styles. Wing vents, side curtains and side mounted spare tire are nice options.

For sale: 1936 ford pickup pro street/race pickup this vehicle started life as a race pickup, designed by renowned race car builder, chris holston of rancho cordova, ca. He assembled double rail frames 3x2 with cab only roll cage and duel swing out sidebars for doors and reconfigured the seats to accommodate a wider variety of drivers by lowering them into the cab floor and installing custom seat sliders. He went on to install ladder bars rear suspension with coil over shock mounts. Ford 9-inch support bars will not swing out, but are removable. Chris employed package a and a ford housing cab, completely trimmed. Body this little gal is 90% completed. Hood needs ford badge. The grill is also missing its badge, outer grill trim and needs sandblasting. The hood is in excellent working condition; fenders and running boards are new, both front and rear. Speedway told me that the fenders and running boards are the best fiberglass fenders currently on the market. Although the doors appear to be brand new, thy have no glass or window cranks. There’s a difference in cost, but power windows are available (and desirable for vintage gearheads like myself.) the fiberglass fenders reduced the vehicle’s weight substantially. Newly installed, bomber-style racing seats were custom made for this cab. It has not been chopped or channeled. The eight-point roll cage fits so nicely that it is hardly visible, and augments driver and/or passenger safety. The pickup is equipped with a racing steering column. I even found a dash pad for the pickup, which is approximately 3 inches wide and the width of the cab. They are rare and seldom seen on the open market. That little thing only cost me $300. The driver’s side inside door handle is missing. Front window is currently set up to remain stationary but it is not a hard fix. The front window is new. The back window comes in two versions, solid or sliding. Why? 1935, 36 and 37 ford made a back sliding, but it didn’t go over big with the farmers. So they did away with them. The cab is in excellent condition, needs block, sanded, and painted—or simply filler primered. Drive train and suspension the radiator is, i believe, an aluminum walker but don’t have the markings to prove yet. The gas pump is mechanical. The front suspension is a rack and pinion with mustang tube setup with coil over shock with power disk brakes for racing. The front tires are new on rocket racing wheels. The engine is cooled by a mechanical fan. The trimming cover, oil pan and breather caps are chrome. It’s running a crate 350 block with a mild cam--nothing radical. The pickup has m/t valve covers with a matte finish and a matte finished endelbrock tunnel ram with two holly 650 carburetors. Msds distributor and coil. The engine is bolted to a chevy 350 with a 2500 stall. New heavy duty drive line narrowed 9 inch. I’m unsure whether the axels or gears are ivegan the center section. Back brakes are disk with the rotors drilled. The ford 9 inch has been reinforced again and going back to be altered for racing. It has a ladder bar rear suspension with coil over shocks. Tires are new hoosier 31x1750x15 can go up to 33 x21. 5x 15. The gas pump is mechanical. If i put in the new bed; parts and labor will raise the value and purchase price $2000, which will include the wood sub-frame and wood rails plus freight and labor coast. It’s difficult to put a price on this. I almost forgot that i purchased a new 15 gallon full tank a pit cock made of spun aluminum. I’m going to paint it with primer gray filler, sand it and spray it again. I have put a lot of time and money into this build. I, personally have never seen another 1936 ford pickup pro street in any of my hot-rodding experience, so the price of the truck will increase as i continue to invest. I put 8 miles on this truck going to and from the gas station. I didn’t want to drive any more until i had gone through the entire pickup. Before that, it sat on blocks since 1998. I do have a clean and clear title. Power Windows
