Ran great till a couple weeks ago need some work starts and runs so just transmission work dont have time or money right now. We love this car and had a fun time restoring it with my dad.

Well, i do too and i have been restoring them for over 25 years; some of those years professionally. Over the years, i have personally owned over 50 of the little lovable cars including xkes, tr3, mgs, triumphs, and even an sp250 (british hemi) daimler. Of all of those cars, these are my last 3. In the shop picture, there is a 1969 austin healey sprite (far left in the pic), and a 1952 mg td (middle in the pic) - the 1971 mgb roadster (far right in the pic, has now has been sold). I will be putting up better pics of these cars in a few weeks as my health improves. To my great dismay, some serious health issues are forcing my hand and i am going to have to let all of the cars go. It took me 18 months of wrestling and fighting with then reality of the situation but it just has to happen. 1967 mgb gt. My daily driver for years (in good weather). Its like this (the hardtop model) were once a dime-a-dozen because everyone wanted roadsters. What that meant for the gt is that they were left to rot and taken to scrap yards to be crushed in mass quantities. Rust is, and has always been, virtually non-existent in this car. The paint has a "patina" look to it that i like, but it is in reasonably good condition and can be wet sanded or compounded and then buffed to bring it out to a nice gloss. This 67 was part of the tony barnhill collection - he and i were good friends before he passed away. The engine is a low-mileage rebuild - rust is negligible and i have the parts to repair what needs to be repaired. The floor pans are perfect and, from what i can tell, they have never been replaced. In general, lots of work has already been done to the car and many new parts have been installed, including a new fuel tank. It was registered and driven around logan before being driven into my shop to work on the paint/body. The td is an amazing story. One owner for over 50 years and was always stored indoors. No rust anywhere, ever - not in the body, not in the frame - no evidence of any accidents that i can see. I have found no dry rot or damage in the ash coach-built structure. Overall, the car is almost perfectly original except for a respray back in the early 1980s and i have been disassembling the mechanicals for rebuilt it really does not appear that the car has ever been touched, except for a new clutch. This car spent life titled and driving the roads of yosemite park exclusively - it was never tilted for regular highway usage until just a year ago when the owner's son brought it to utah. Then car was running and driven into my shop before i started on the disassembly. The resprayed paint is still in excellent condition - it is a little brighter red than the original mg red that the car was painted. So, that should answer some questions about the cars but more answers are just a phone call away. No texts and no emails. I also don't need the money, i just know that i have now medically reached the end of the road in terms of my ability to physically perform the work that i lovingly performed for so many years. A very sad day indeed. Everything i have mg related - apart parts, factory manuals, memorabilia, etc will go with the cars or can go separately. I will, however, be keeping my tools for the kids. Prices for the individual vehicles can be negotiated separately but a package deal is possible. Don't be shy, call me and let's do what car people do ...

Built on a 68 Volkswagen platform but registered as a '78 because that was the year it was built and registered. Everything works and qualifies for the Utah antique plates, which means no inspections or emissions.. I believe the engine is a 1600 cc, and is in great condition

This car has new: tires, dash cover, seats (pennys seat cover), center console, stereo w/amp. Carpet, convertible top, visors, rubber around doors, brake master cylinder, brakes, brake hose, weber carb, intake, tune up, tail lights, muffler. My son and i put over 2k in this last year )mostly interior. I have a spare: trunk lid, hood, doors, convertible top frame. We bought an mg and stripped it for parts. We got all the new parts from lmc. We put a brand new turn signal switch in, then my son broke it. We shortend the shifter, the short ones on internet we're 100 bucks. I forget all we did to it. I have a few pics, will put more on. I was going to put a bugeye bonnet on it that tilts forward, but didnt get the part. I have extra stock wheels. No, i dont deal with shippers. Yes, it could use a paint job. We just wax it and enjoy.
