Up for sale a late model Austin Healey BJ8 3000. This car comes with the BritishMotor Heritage Certificate showing the car was built 22 December (1966) – 24January 1967. The mileage shows 37795. The body on this car is extremelystraight. It has had an older restoration. The door lines are as they should beand the doors close properly. It has the original black interior in very goodcondition. The door panels have some minor damage and a new set will be providedwith the car. This BJ8 has a nice everflex convertible top and comes also withthe original boot cover and an aftermarket tonneau cover. It has brand new 60spoke chrome wire wheels with 165 x 15 brand new Firestone F-560 radial tires. This Healey has a newly rebuiltoriginal servo, new waterpump, new 6 bladed fan and new hoses. It also has a new high quality chrome emergency brakehandle. This MKIII BJ8 also has new Lucas driving lights that have been properlywired through two relays. I see no rust anywhere on the car body. The originalframe rails are straight. It has one small rust hole above the tailpipes in thetrunk floor. The paint job is several years old but still very respectable. There are a few nick and minor chips in keeping with its age. There is no rustin the fender wells, especially in front of the rear tires. It has Ansa mufflersand regular mild steel resonators, but could use a new set o.

This is aprox. 90 percent restore with no rust ever anywhere on it. I purchased it this spring as a restore project it had sat since 1992 now it is almost completely all new or restored way too many things to list. 1098 with aftermarket carb and exhaust with stock tranny. I have aftermarket spokes on also have stock steel rims.. Maybe driven 300 miles this summer. According to vin number it was 25th built in 1963. Thanks a lot no disappointments with this one. Call or text cell 9am-8pm mst price dropped to 12,500. 00 need to get this to a new home lets talk the worst i can say is no.

1967 austin-healey bj8 mark iii- utah showroom the 3000 mark iii was launched in october 1963, and remained in production until the end of 1967, when manufacture of austin-healeys ceased. Only one further car was built in march 1968. Designated the bj8, the 2+2 mark iii was the most powerful and luxurious of the big healeys, with a standard walnut-veneer dash, wind-up windows, and a 150 hp i-6 cylinder engine. Added power came from a new camshaft and valve springs, twin su 2" hd8 carburettors, and a new exhaust system design. Servo-assisted brakes were also standard. Options remained otherwise the same, except that the standard interior trim was downgraded to ambla vinyl, with leather as an extra. It has correctly detailed engine bay, interior and trunk.
