Still throws a check engine light every now and then, but we can get it to pass safety and emissions. Had an issue with the overdrive shift solenoid, but I replaced it, the transmission, and all the fluid. New fuel pump (within the last year) Air Conditioning

Edit: the one accident showing on the carfax was a hit and run involving police but left no damage aside a couple small scuffs on the plastic of the rear bumper. A very low car rear ended it, got kind of messed up. But again, next to no damage. although it does need some tlc on a couple medium sized items and is not showroom ready, this has been an indispensable and reliable vehicle for us. Mechanically sound to my knowledge and no signs of impending trouble, runs and drives great. The engine and transmission are especially sound, regular oil changes and any work performed was at the same shop. There are a few known trouble items for this model generation that have been remedied. However two doors have impaired functionality, two lock actuators do not work reliably. The speakers for the stereo are at end of life, i'm sure the foam has disintegrated. The 6 disc changer stopped working and consequently was removed for space in the center armrest. There are definitely some signs of age cosmetically, but it's never been abused, overworked or smoked in. Never any accidents, one slow speed deer strike that marred the plastic grille and popped a foglight out. We're the third owners since 2003 @ 106k miles, my mother mainly drove it daily. Title in hand, as is. We no longer have need or space for it and don't want it to waste away. It would be a great utility car or first car with a couple simple projects. Air conditioning does work and has had proper repairs done over its life. Additional information and pictures available.
