A little rust in spots and the drivers seat is worn but it runs great. Tires and brakes are good. I've had this car for 20 years and it's been a very reliable vehicle.. But the kids are grown and gone and we just don't need it anymore.

95 ford explorer 5spd manual. It is a great first car. It has a brand new battery and front brakes. And newer shocks all around along with new upper control arms and ball joints. The lower ball joints do need to be replaced but i have already bought them. Check engine light is on for cam sensor but it still runs and shifts great.

96 explorer eddie bauer. 4. 0l v6. It has an estimated 215k miles (odometer stopped working at 199k) this has been my work vehicle for the past year and a half. It runs great and transmission shifts smooth. It doesn't leak a single drop of oil or other fluids. Oil was changed every 3 months i just changed it last weekend. The 4x4 works great the ac blows cold and the heater works good as well. Tires were replaced when i first got it so they have about 10k miles on them so they have a long life still. Only the passenger window works. The headliner is in rough shape it has tears in it. The body has some scratches and dents and some paint fade issues, (but no rust on body) the hood prop rod is missing so i use a wooden stick to hold the hood open. 4x4 eddie, needs gaskets replaced on the transmission (have new gaskets in the front seat!), runs and drives,. Starts every time, no smoke. Will need some minor work, good first car. Fresh polished new battery new tires and wheels new oil change new filter come get it.

Mechanic's special or parts car. The slave cylinder needs to be replaced so its a real pain trying to shift. Other than that it runs great, yes it has over a quarter million miles but i have not had a single problem with the engine. The alternator and the starter were replaced about a year ago, and the water pump, serpentine belt and the tension pulley replaced about 6 months ago. The tires are goodyear wrangler radials and only have about 12,000 miles on them. It does need a new battery. I also have some extra parts(spark plugs and wires, master cylinder, and a right headlight housing).

New all season tires in september. New battery connectors. I've been running fuel cleaners at each fill up and it started running a little rough so put in a new fuel filter and cleaned the throttle body assembly and put in a new air filter but still runs a little rough so i think it needs clean spark plugs or new ones. No time to tackle spark plugs. We planned to upgrade anyway so now's the time. All power locks and windows work great. We used the 4wheel drive all winter, works great in 4high and 4low. Pretty good shape inside and out, just a little messy right now. Power Locks
