This is a very low mileage 1996 xjs convertible done in celebration red to commemorate its final year of production. It has a fully-lined tan convertible top with a tan interior with white piping. I have personally owned the car for over 18 of its 20 years and have driven it only occasionally to keep the fluids in circulation. It has been kept in an air conditioned garage the entire time and is in excellent condition. I am selling it only to make room for a new project. The drivers seat has been professionally lowered slightly and moved rearward 3 to accommodate my 66 height. Additionally, a 3 extension was added to the steering column, but both changes can be easily removed. Other than that the entire vehicle is completely stock. The car is equipped with virtually every option including pw, ps, pb (4 wheel discs), 4-speed automatic with od, air bags, power seats, power door locks, connolly leather seating with walnut trim on console and doors, speed control, automatic climate control air conditioning, premium audio system with 6 cd changer, lighted vanity mirrors in visors, power heated chrome door mirrors and alloy wheels. Additionally, the car was completely refreshed by a factory mechanic in 2014 at a cost of over $4,000 which included 5 new michelin tires (now with less than 150 miles). The battery has been replaced in the last 2 months. The only flaws i know of are a narrow 1 1/2 scratch on the right front fender flare, a small blemish on convertible top (perhaps pine sap?) and some very small nicks on the front fascia. Everything is running great and we recently purchased a new battery. The first owner had a car dealership and kept it as a prize, rarely driving except for special occasions. We purchased from him in 1992 and it has always been garage kept and extremely well cared for. We have a file of service records. The car is currently in storage in st. There is a nearly identical car on autotrader. Com for $29,875 so we think this is a great price on an extremely well-kept and very low milage jaguar. Asking $18,000 or best offer.
