This is my classical japanese 1983 mazda rx-7 gsl. A rotary powered collectors car which unfortunately i have to part with. This is a very rare car, its the first model of the rx-7 offered chassis code fb. Rotary engines are easy to care for, just use conventional oil as they are designed to inject oil into the combustion chamber to cool itself. Very fun car to own. I am in need of cash i am going on a trip to oregon and i am behind on bills. I did not want to see the car go but i am offering to sell at a lower than value price of 3300. I paid 4500 for the car only a few months ago, but i need cash now. The value of this car will increase with time, it is a collector car. This car has 128608 miles and will not go up. Currently located in spanish fork. Equipped with sunroof, a/c, cruise control, heater, radio, automatic windows, new tires, side marker lights, flip up headlights, crisp paint job. Issues: a/c needs new relay, radio not working, cruise control is out. The rotary engine runs perfectly, no smoke, no transmission issues, shifts smooth. Come take it for a test drive! The secondary fuel jets engage past 4000rpm and it climbs in power. Very sporty and fun summer car for anyone, especially a car enthusiast. Call or text anytime. 1984 mazda rx7 not 1980. This car is a project car. Currently wont start needs a new starter motor last time i let somebody test drive it, it got ruined. Will need to be towed away. With the year and how the car sits it will only pass as a vintage plate vehicle which is still drivable on utah roads. Don't have time for the project. Sitting for a couple months may need a carb clean. 1750 obo... Motor. 93 ford mustang 5. 0 distributor. Is a hei ford combo. Internal distributor parts and wires can come from a 85 chevy 1500 truck 5. 7 we got it on ebay its called a ford hei distributor. Alternator is from a 85 chevy 1500 5. 7 with the pulley swapped to take the right belt so don't let the pully go. Carb and intake are aftermarket and a matching edelbrock set the carb is a 1406 600cfm trans. 89 ford mustang 5. 0 drive shaft is custom but takes 93 mustang u joints. Clutch cable housing is a mustang 5. 0 housing but the cable is from home depot it is stronger then the stock cable and dose not brake as often rear axle. I don't know the year but it is a fox body mustang 8. 8 posi. Front suspension and brakes are all stock rx7 new brake pads and tires.

Starts and drives great. Very strong engine and tranny. Body needs to be sanded, primed and painted with a few repairs. *one rust spot, front and rear spoilers need to be replaced or repaired, left rear tail light needs to be replaced. The dash board needs to be redone. The seats have been reapolstered but aren't perfect. The body is straight, the tires are pretty much new, this is a great starting point for a pretty cool car. A couple other things i noticed since i bought it are: the gas gauge doesn't work and sometimes the 'add coolant light' displays even tho there is plenty of coolant. I've had no issues with the car, i drive it pretty much every weekend. I am buying a new house and need the money, otherwise, i would keep it and continue rebuilding it myself. Lonnie 801-404-5000.

I am selling my 1988 10th anniversary turbo 2 fc rx7. 1500 made, not sure how many are left. 103k miles, but has a new speedo with 55 miles currently on it. Retains all original bronze tinted glass that was 10th ann specific, even the windshield. I got it out of texas last year hoping to restore it and bring it back to its former 80’s glory. I don’t think ill have the time for it with other projects looming over me. Overall its nice, but needs some work overall. It runs and drives well, no weird shakes, the engine pulls well and the turbo seems to properly boost. It does have an exhaust leak that seems to be in the turbo area, its most likely turbo to manifold, but not 100% sure and haven’t taken it apart to see. Its only noticeable on acceleration and not that bad. I tested the engine compression when i got it and it is about 85 psi per rotor face at 4500ft elevation. The previous owner had it repainted but it really needs to be color sanded to remove orange peel in the paint. After that, the body will look great. I have found a few areas on the passenger floorpan where it has rusted through, could be fixed by a patch, so its not that big of a deal, just need to make people aware. No rust anywhere else really. I started to buy some pricey new parts for the car, it has a new walbro fuel pump, new oem exterior door moldings, new speedometer, new oem radio surround (not installed), emissions equipment block off plate kit (not installed), new shifter bushings and lower boot, radio install kit, a non-power steering rack (not installed), redline 75w-90 in the rear differential, and extra parts and pieces. I also took apart the door mechanisms and tracks and cleaned them up so now the windows go up and down like butter. It also has the racing beat catback exhaust and a downpipe. Interior is nice overall also, the driver seat needs attention on the bolster and the bottom outside piece, there is a cargo cover door missing in the hatch area. Luckily the dash is uncracked. This is the only s4 model rx7 with a black interior from the factory. Overall it’s a rare car, not many left and definitely work further restoration.

Borgwarner s366 .91ar t4 twin scroll turbo, hks cast t4 twin scroll manifold, hks 44mm ewg, greddy rs bov, turbosmart dual stage mbc, apexi fmic, 850cc primary . After hearing a million horror stories I pulled it apart at 112k to verify the port job, upgraded apex seals, etc, and everything looked solid. I bought the car with just under 110k miles on the odometer, and was told there was only 3 miles on the motor

I started and got the engine out cleaned and dismantled it just needs to be put back together. A few fender benders is why the hood and panel is different.
