There are a few things wrong with it and i've listed them here: -needs a new head gasket -ac doesn't work, not sure what's wrong, but heater works very well -cd player doesn't work, but am/fm works great, all speakers work well -dent on the side of the vehicle, but is only cosmetic -when the car shifts from reverse to drive, it's a little delayed, but no hard shifting while in drive this car is for someone with the automotive skills to get this car back and running! Replacing the head gasket will really get this car back to working order. For the age of this car, it still drives very nicely! I bought the car brand new in late 2000 and i am the sole owner. I've regularly maintained the car with oil changes and other regular maintenance and repairs. Price is negotiable, and looking to sell quickly. Text and call is okay. I have recently purchased a newer outback and am selling my previous one. The car has been unbelievably efficient in all weather terrain and has allowed my passengers and i the luxury of space and comfort.. I have done most of the maintenance myself and have been faithful with the routine maintenance. The car drives strong and has plenty of life left in it. The car does burn oil and may need some transmission work in the near future since it is experiencing some gear slipping on occasion when the car is driven before operating at optimal temperature. It did just pass it's safety inspection as of february 2017, but it will need new tires soon. I have discussed pricing with my mechanic and we have decided that $2,500 is an honest price. I am in no rush to sell the car so i am pretty firm on the pricing. Feel free to contact me anytime. I'm usually fairly busy but i always respond to my texts and voicemail. Does need tires and rear brakes to pass safety, may or may not pass emissions due to the rear catalytic converter was plugged and inside material removed, there is 2 new front catalytic converters welded in however they are not enough to keep the engine light off. There is a spacer on the rear oxygen sensor which keeps the engine light out however this may cause the emissions inspection to fail. Also there is some rear bushings in the suspension that need to be replaced as there is sometimes a creaking noise over bumps and 2 bushings in the rear differential that causes a knock from the rear when shifted into reverse. Bushings are inexpensive however time consuming to install. Title in hand and is rebuilt / restored i'm not sure why, the hood looks original as it has original stickers. The key fob is having trouble working and may just need to be replaced. Recently installed new spark plugs, rear transmission mount and an awd solenoid. Asking $1500. 00 firm.
