15,000 obo body: this very nice tr6 features fresh paint over an accident and filler-free body. The door jambs and underside of hood and trunk lid also repainted. The hood, trunk and windshield seals and gaskets are new. Floor boards replaced. Corrosion removed, acid etched, over-coated, sealed and painted body color. The entire car has been re-painted even inside the trunk. Engine bay: very clean, repainted. Interior: the dash pads, door and interior trim panels are in very nice condition. The original wood dashboard has been replaced. The seats have been overhauled (new diaphragms, foam and covers) and are in very nice condition. The carpet is new and in very great condition. The factory steering wheel leather. There is a fine crack in the dash. Convertible top: the top is brand new and is in excellent condition. The top frame was stripped to bare metal and painted. The webbing, seals and gaskets were replaced also. Engine: rings, bearings, thrust washers, tappets and oil pump have been replaced. The cylinder head has been re-built and received all new valves and guides. New pistons and valve cover. The engine is equipped with a spin on oil filter adapter and external oil feed hose for the valve train. Carburetors: re-built. Could use some fine tuning. Cooling: the radiator was flushed and checked, all hoses replaced (including the heater core hoses under the dash) along with the water pump, thermostat and temperature sending unit. Brakes: the master cylinder and calipers have been overhauled and the rear wheel cylinders replaced. Suspension: front and rear bushings have been replaced. The rear suspension features a kyb shock absorber conversion. Tires: new red wall michelin tires on the front and the rears are 60%. Electrical: everything works as it should, including glove box, interior and trunk lighting. Bumpers, headlight rings, luggage rack and wheel rings have all been re-chromed. New triumph floor mats.

The tr6 is beloved of british sports car fans as the last of the traditional hairy chested english roadsters. This car runs great and needs nothing to drive away and enjoy. It has been garaged for the last 30 years and is in excellent condition. The 2. 5 liter straight six while not a powerhouse in emission controlled twin carburetor form has plenty of torque and makes some of the best sounds in sports cardom. Tr6s are easy to maintain, good-looking, rugged and have easy parts availability. They’re an ideal first collector car. The mileage is not verified as the speedometer does not work. Includes a full body car cover as well as the classic tonneau cover. Must see to appreciate.

Here is all the good and replaced: Entire fuel system replaced, new clutch, new ignition and distributor cap, water pump seal, alternator and more that I don't really care to add for now. The bad: Needs some brake work, I only know that the fluid gets bleed dry every other week or so, we have a TBI installed. This car is a classic and rubs elbows with whats considered to be the classics, so please only serious inquiries, and no

The good and the great: Low mileage, Third owner, total clutch replacement, new fan, ignition system and TBI in place of the carburetors, full replacement of the fuel system (tank and all) The parts that need love: The dash needs some TLC, along with the upholstery on the seats, and the TBI either needs new vacuum tubes or some tinkering as it lags when throttled hard.. I prefer to sell to someone who has an appreciation for vintage vehicles and whom isn't planning on murdering her or putting a god awful muffler on. This car has been more than good to me, sad to see it go but I have priorities in school and need the money
